Pocket Spam Filter helps you deal with spam on your Pocket PC. It will delete it directly from server, before it gets to your Inbox. This will save you time and bandwidth cost. It comes with hundreds of predefined filters and blacklisted spammers' domains, and will automatically mark most of spam for deletion. You can easily create your own filters and add emails and domains to friends' lists or blacklists. All your friends emails will automatically be imported from your Contacts as friends.

How Does it Work?

Pocket SpamFilter is designed to be used before your email program. You can see what is on the server, and delete spam and unwanted emails.

First you filter out emails with Pocket SpamFilter and than you download the remaining emails with Pocket Inbox or any other PPC email application.

You can use it even if you are not downloading email to your Pocket PC. For example, when your Pocket PC is connected to the cradle it can automatically check email every few minutes and delete spam from your email accounts.

I love this app because I use a free POP email account on my pda-phone. It was so clogged with spam it would not completely download to the pda-phone. Once I loaded this app I was able to take advantage of their pre-set filters and added one of my own. When I run this with my CDMA connection, it wipes out every bit of that pesky spam in a format that allows me to review before deleting. Then I shut this down and download my good email to my Inbox.
